Wild Alaskan Halibut
Halibut are the largest of the flounder/ flatfish species. With an average size of 20-30 pounds (some have been known to exceed 600 pounds!) they are lean, mild, and sweet. Most would describe Halibut as a flaky white flesh that is firm but tender. Revered by home chefs and professionals alike, halibut is best when grilled or sautéed, but can also be used, as it is famously done so in Alaska, for “Halibut & Chips”. Trust us, you won’t be disappointed!
Our Wild Alaskan Halibut is ethically and sustainably sourced from the Yakutat and Cook Inlet areas of Alaska. They are caught, processed, and frozen within 24 hours of harvest to ensure flavor, texture, and nutrition.
