Gulf Shrimp Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Marithyme Gulf Shrimp, peeled, deveined, cooked, and chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced small
  • 2 tablespoons dill relish
  • 2 tablespoons Alchemy Spice "The Big Deal"
  • 1/3 cup Duke's mayonnaise
  • 4 buns or bread of choice
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Peel and devein the shrimp.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of kosher salt.
  3. Add the shrimp to the boiling water, then immediately turn off the heat. Let the shrimp cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the hot water and transfer them to a bowl of ice-cold water to stop the cooking process.
  5. Once cooled, chop the shrimp into small pieces.
  6. In a bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, celery, mayonnaise, relish, and seasoning. Mix thoroughly.
  7. Toast or grill a buttered hot dog bun (or other bread of choice).
  8. Spoon the shrimp salad into the bun and finish with a squeeze of lemon.

Tips

  • For an extra crunch, add diced red onion or bell pepper.
  • Swap out Duke's mayonnaise for Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • Serve with a side of coleslaw or crispy fries for a complete meal.
