YES! All of products, both American, and imported, come from Fair Trade Certified or Marine Stewardship Council Green approved fisheries. Our shellfish are either hand harvested with live traps, or are geared to prevent unnecessary by catch.

Once your order ships you will receive an email with a link that is tied to your UPS shipping information. You will be able to track your order from the time it leaves the fulfillment center until it arrives at your door! We will always let you know which day it is expected to arrive, but due to local UPS delivery schedules, we do not know exactly when it will arrive during the business day. There is plenty of dry ice in your package so it will be fine if you are not home when it arrives.

Once your package arrives, you should inspect your order to make sure everything looks frozen. While we do not expect any issues with delivery, things that are out of our control do happen. If you do suspect an issue, see the next item for how to proceed. If everything is still frozen, immediately place in the freezer!

This is a worse case scenario, but due to conditions out of our control, this could happen. If the product only seems slightly thawed on the edges, it is fine, just place immediately in the freezer. If the product is completely thawed, please contact us immediately at info@marithymeseafood.com

Dry ice is dangerous, and can cause injury if not properly handled. The dry ice will be contained in a plastic bag. The dry ice will dissipate within a few hours, so it can be left in the delivery box. If for whatever reason you must move the dry ice, use a pair of tongs, or a thick towel. Never touch with your bare hand!

Your product will arrive frozen, and needs to stay frozen until you are ready to thaw it out. Standard freezers operate from 0-5 degrees fahrenheit. This is perfect!

As long as the vacuum sealed packages are still sealed, your seafood can last many months in your freezer. Depending on your freezer type and the temperature it is stored at, the nutritional benefits and quality of the seafood can last anywhere from 6- 12 months.

We do not recommend cooking from frozen. Because wild caught seafood takes much less time than farm raised seafood to cook, the chances of overcooking and spoiling your prized catch is likely to happen. Always thaw first to ensure you are getting to enjoy your seafood the way it should be!
