Blackened Wild Caught Shrimp with Lemon
Instructions
Thaw and peel shrimp under cold water
Toss in a bowl with blackening seasoning
Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium high heat until the oil is shimmering and the butter has slightly browned
Pour shrimp in skillet and flip after 1 minute
Finish for one minute on the other side and remove shrimp from heat
Squeeze lemon over the shrimp and serve
Serve with grits for a classic shrimp and grits dish or over pasta with cherry tomatoes
